This is especially for Mom who is renowned for creative currency exchange

The 1USD=2860 COP pesos. So we sre all carrying around thousands.  It’s like the old days when we had millions of lira on any given day in Italy.

The straightforward bills say 50,000 (which essentially buys a coffee and a donut).The trick is the ones that blast out a big  50 and in small print say “mil” that too is 50000.

There are also  coins.  Even a 20. Now if a dollar gets 2860 COP how much is 20 worth? Who’s good at fractions? Mom?
