I had a real treat thru my Canadian friend Cathy.  She and her Colombian husband,  Roger  and his extended family were visiting their Mum in Cartagena

I got a chance to ask the three brothers about the politics here including guerrillas activities,  racism (they are Black and experience it first hand),  peace etc. In less than a half hour they demonstrated my utter ignorance-‘in  a gentle way

So dont use me as your source for any Colombian political issues

We will be suffering  from the shared ignorance that plagues most political discourse among people these days ( reference FOX news)
