Currency challenges

So I went on many trips with Mom over the years

She always had a strange quote when calculating currency exchanges. Finally I asked her to calculate out loud for me. OK smarty pants (she said). 5 francs to the dollar. The lingerie is 200 francs

So you drop the zero (who knows why?). Thats 5 10 15 20.  So it’s 20 dollars (she was so proud of her calculation that I didn’t even correct her what was the point anyway?)

I tell you this because I have become my Mom. I was OK in Japan which was basically 100 to 1. In Mongolia it is 2350 to 1 USD. I don’t even want to tax my brain wih those numbers. Everything is in the thousands.
